Children
Our children’s services are designed to support a wide range of communication and developmental needs as kids grow and learn. We provide tailored, evidence-based therapy for speech sound disorders, fluency (stuttering), Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), literacy skills, and support for picky eaters. We also help children build confidence in their social communication and play skills, creating a strong foundation for learning, friendships, and everyday life. Each session is engaging, child-centred, and adapted to suit your child’s unique strengths and goals.

Speech Disroders
Speech pathologists support children with speech disorders by assessing their clarity of speech and identifying any difficulties with
sounds, pronunciation, or fluency. Therapy targets the development of accurate speech sounds, smooth speech patterns, and confidence in communication. We work alongside families and educators to help children be understood and communicate
effectively in daily life.

Litracy Skills
Speech pathologists assist children with literacy difficulties by
assessing their reading, spelling, and writing skills to identify areas
of need. Therapy focuses on building phonics, vocabulary,
comprehension, and written expression using evidence-based
approaches. We work with families and educators to support the
child’s literacy development at home and in the classroom.

Social and Play Skills
Speech pathologists help children develop the social and play skills that form the foundation of language, learning, and relationships. Through structured and engaging activities, children are explicitly taught how to connect with peers, understand and follow rules, take turns, and communicate respectfully. These skills support trust, empathy, emotional regulation, and the ability to find joy and confidence in their everyday environments.

Fluency
Speech pathologists help children who stutter by assessing their speech patterns and providing therapy to develop smoother, more
confident communication. Support may include strategies to reduce tension, manage speech rate, and build self-assurance in speaking situations. We work closely with families and schools to create supportive environments that encourage fluent and relaxed speech.

Picky Eaters
Speech pathologists support children who are picky eaters by assessing their feeding skills, sensory preferences, and any underlying oral or swallowing difficulties. Therapy may involve
gradual exposure to new foods, improving chewing and swallowing skills, and reducing mealtime stress. We work with families to create positive, supportive eating experiences that encourage variety and confidence with food.

Developmental Language Disorder (DLD)
Speech pathologists help children with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) by assessing their communication skills and providing targeted therapy to improve understanding, expression, and social interaction. Therapy may focus on building vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, and conversation skills, while also teaching practical strategies for home and school. We work closely with families and educators to support the child’s communication in everyday life.
