Teens & Young Adults
Our services for teens and young adults focus on building practical communication skills for everyday life. We support clients in developing confidence with social interactions, navigating relationships, and preparing for employment, including workplace communication and interview skills. Therapy is tailored to each individual’s goals, helping them gain independence, express themselves effectively, and feel more confident across social, educational, and work environments.

Communication Skills
Speech pathologists support teenagers and young adults in secondary school by developing speech, language, and communication skills needed for study, work, and independent living. Therapy may focus on functional skills such as following instructions, problem-solving, workplace communication, and self-advocacy. We work with students, families, and schools to build the confidence and practical communication abilities essential for
future employment and daily life.

Employment
Speech pathologists assist teenagers and adults in developing the communication skills needed to gain, maintain, and progress in employment. Therapy may focus on job interview skills, workplace communication, problem-solving, and adapting language for different professional settings. We work with individuals to build confidence, clarity, and effectiveness in their communication, supporting success and growth in their chosen careers.

Social Skills
Speech pathologists help teenagers and young adults build social communication skills to navigate the changing dynamics of secondary school and beyond. Therapy may target understanding social cues, adapting language and behaviour for different contexts, and developing skills for forming and maintaining friendships, professional relationships, and romantic connections. We work with young people to build confidence and flexibility in communicating across a range of complex and evolving social situations.
